Biography
I have spent nearly 24 years exposed to the arena of interior design and home construction. My first outbreak into my own interior design projects sparked in 2011 from my fathers office renovation in our 1920s farmhouse. This project allowed me to discover my ability to visualize, interpret, and design spaces that correspond to the needs of a client. After completing various small renovation projects for family and friends, I was motivated to spend my college years discovering different ways to provide high-quality design through function and comfort with the most aesthetically pleasing elements and sophisticated amenities.
Over the past four years studying Interior Design at the Ohio State University, I have expanded on my understanding of design thinking while learning critical lessons in terms of history, reasearch, the design processes, and elements and principles of design. In addition, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with both my instructors and classmates to prove that the distinction between designing and decorating is to look at an entire space or composition rather than separate parts.
